Opportunity – Chief Technology Officer (Mumbai)

Reporting to the MD of the company, you will be heading the Technology function in India.

Job Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture

- Responsible for the development of strategic initiatives concerning information technology, implementation and support of IT systems, architecture, systems reliability, application development, and hardware acquisitions; ensuring integrity of corporate data, proprietary information, and system security; act and interface with non-technical business users in determining overall information technology approach.

- Responsible for all aspects of strategic IT planning, implementation and support nationwide as an integral component of the business plan.

- To Handle Project Management, IT Infrastructure, Applications, Web, and ERP strategy - development, and implementation.

- Effectively introduce and integrate new technologies: Internet, Intranet, Extranet and mobile sites for global customers and employees

- Plan and manage annual operating & capital budgets

VendorManagement

- To provide vendor management of hardware and software principals/vendors to ensure that all IT Systems, Hardware and Database service request are planned and implemented efficiently and problem calls escalated and resolved in a timely manner. This includes initiating and coordinating purchase requisitions of the IT infrastructure products and services

- Evaluate productsand align competitive vendors for Management approvals

- Evaluate vendors on quality and price for required applications

- Align multiple vendor meetings and design process for collaborative applications, if required

People Management

- Organization and Staff Development

- Interact with business users regularly for business automation needs, to ensure quick resolving of issues. Liaison between business user(s) and technical teams

- Train the business users on new applications and ensure adherence to governance norms

Candidate Profile

- B. Tech+ MBA from Tier 1 B School.

- Must have worked in e Commerce, Internet company. Exposure and experience with Travel/Hospitality Industry is preferred

- 15-21 years of experience with last 5 years in Enterprise level Architecture and Design.

- Prior ERP implementation and support experience

- Technical Skills: RDBMS, J2EE, Web Portals, Mobile Platforms, Project Management tools, ERP Virtualization, High-Availability/Clustering, Disaster Recovery/BCP

- Highest integrity and strong working ethics

Pay Package: Remuneration is in line with industry norms
