Chief Technology Officer - Startup

About Client:

Fast Growing startup backed by leading Venture Capitalist investors

Role : 

- As the CTO of the company, you will be responsible for all aspects of technology building the technology team from scratch & developing platforms for both internal & external stakeholders.

- Work closely with founders and management team to lead engineering planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives, timetables, implementation and deployment of product

- Work with the business teams, product management team and users to understand and define the

Vision & all aspects of software development.

- Create a roadmap for development of the platform balancing short-term feature/project requirements with long term strategic initiatives and managing technical debt.

- Define and oversee the development of the technical architecture including the primary marketplace platform

- Define and develop the organizational structure that is well positioned to deliver on the company's software needs and requirements

- Own the development methodology. Align with the executive team to improve the development process, prioritize projects and manage multiple work streams

- Participate in the technology governance of the company by constituting and partaking in technology steering committees.

- Build & Grow the engineering team and maintaining right tech culture throughout.

- Strong hold on tech, architecture, design pattern to lead long term scalable, stable and flexible tech solutioning for business, marketing and product.

- 15+ years of experience. Have worked in high scale products. Start-up experience strongly preferred
