Chief Technology Officer will render software application development services to the various Industrial Vision inspection products that the company will develop as a part of its solution offering towards Industrial Vision Inspection needs. The role will provide leadership to Image Processing, Application development and Software Testing teams and deliver scalable/customizable software applications. JOB DUTIES :&nbsp; - Development of innovative software applications in domains such as machine vision, image analysis, Track &amp; Trace. - To lay the project plan, design, development, testing &amp; execution of the user interface equipments - To handle and lead machine vision R&amp;D, Image Processing, Application development, Java, Embedded, Testing, QA and Optics teams. - To develop high caliber Application Development, software testing and Image Processing teams. - To contribute in architecture, Design and Development of new products initiatives. - To contribute in timely innovations and research that helps in extending the product range and reach with new ideas in products. - To seek feedback from customer at the evaluation phase and incorporate the suggested changes - To provide training programs to service engineers and customers. - To interact with internal and external cross-functional teams - Technical guidance to Sales and Presales team for new proposals - Consistent improvement of existing products in order to keep the products base relevant. - Set Testing department and ensure laying down of right systems and processes - Record Keeping and maintaining technical documentation for all product ranges POSITION REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp; - Masters of Engineering from reputed institutes with a minimum of 10+ years experience in relevant Industries. (Preferred: Machine Vision Products/Industrial Imaging products) - Must have managed technical operations in at least two previous tenures - Should have experience in leading system engineering/ product engineering teams related to multimedia, image processing and computer vision applications - Zeal for accepting bigger mandates and a proven experience in succeeding the same Personal characteristics - Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence &amp; negotiate; communications and public speaking skills - Excellent team management, client interaction and engagement skills with timely status and issue escalation reporting - Possess a strategic awareness and a strong customer orientation with a passion for delivering value to customers - Should have experience in project delivery and management skills, people management skills, capacity planning, risk analysis and mitigation skills - Strong in inter and intra-personal skills, conflict and detailed issue resolution skills - Have excellent team building skills and orientation to managing and developing high quality talent within the organization - Creating and maintaining an atmosphere in which employees willingly produce at maximum capacity - Acting as a coach and develops team members by articulating key expectations, identifying strengths and providing support to maximize performance - Build transparency in operations and an organization culture of trust and mutual respect - The incumbent should come with high energy levels, analytical ability, strong interpersonal skills and self-assuring presence - Possess high level of ethical values and not resort to short-cuts - Should be strong in technical documentation
