Chief Technology Officer - Life Insurance (15-20 yrs)

They are a joint venture between a diversified financial services conglomerate in India, and one of the oldest life insurance companies in the world. Headquartered at Mumbai, it has Pan India presence through its various branches and currently has an employee strength of 1500+ employees.

The company offers more than 20 products to cater to retirement, saving & investment, education, critical illness and income replacement needs. It offers products in both the digital as well as offline space. It's product portfolio includes endowment plans, term plans, ULIP's and critical illness plans. Apart from individual plans, it also offers group protection plans.

Industry / Technology background:

1) Demonstrated ability to bring transformation, envision technology solutions that are as per customer needs and solve business problems

2) Understanding and orientation of how to leverage digital technologies for business transformation

3) Rich experience in managing IT operations in Financial Services domain including experience of being in Senior Management position at all India level and managing a large team

Role and Responsibilities:

1) Senior executive capable of developing and implementing technology solutions for Life Insurance business in partnership with SBU/ LOB heads and enterprise technology team.

2) Good experience in use of technologies for creating product & service differentiation and innovation coupled with a strong execution orientation and ability to deliver results.

3) Envisioning business service offerings as a web-based business and leading implementation of web applications

4) Ability to envision using of business data for building insights and decision support

5) Establishing technology governance process to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and technology resources are deployed optimally

6) Development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plan for Business
