Skills Required :

- The ideal candidate should be passionate about technology. He / she should be a whizkid at technology and be able to solve complex software engineering challenges. 


- The person we are seeking should have a strong affinity for mobile, web, big data, open source, and analytics domains and should have had not less than 8 - 10 years work experience specifically in these domains. The work will be primarily engineering-oriented.

- Should be also a hands-on coder to clear the complex problems. To be well versed with atleast any 2 programming languages preferably on Java.

- The Head of Technology needs to be strong motivator, demonstrating excellent leadership skills and capacity to lead and build the organization. The culture of the organization is geared to those who are more entrepreneurial in their approach to work.

- The role is geared to those who would like a reasonably free hand to influence the technology vision of the company and some of the largest brands in Asia Pacific. 


- Technology patterns, Algorithms, Architecture, Language-Agnosticism, and a profound love for all that technology can accomplish are essential characteristics of this leader we are seeking. We would love someone from a start-up background, who is used to agile projects, rather than a big IT SI company, who has handled multi-year projects.

Responsibility :

- The Head of Technology will be responsible for guiding, conceptualization, vision and roadmaps to the internal engineering team and to clients on leveraging relevant technology to accomplish their vision and goals.

- The person will be responsible for everything - from architecture to planning and platform recommendations. The Head of Technology will also be part of the Leadership Team, responsible for influencing the growth of the organization.

- The Head of Technology will lead a team of 25 - 40 people in the core engineering team, and also partner with the extended team of over 300 engineers, analysts, creative professionals, modellers, and implementation consultants.

- The Head of Technology will be responsible for solving complex technology challenges, recruitment, team-building and motivation, customer evangelization, technology solutioning, and generally be the technology custodian of the organization. 


- The person will have a free hand as far as the technology function is concerned and will set the technology direction for the organization.
