- Formulate the long-term strategy for technological development for the region: product layout plan, roadmap for new product development, plan and formulate the company's long-term technical architecture and managing a technology budget and making the necessary investments to align the organization with its vision for its technological needs

- Manage the company's overall core technology, organize the formulation and implementation of major technical decisions.

- Engage in conversations with stakeholders at multiple levels: Investors, Clients, Team Members and Regulators providing value and solutions.

- Study the technical development route of the company and plan the company's products accordingly

- Responsible for development resources, formulate talent training and talent introduction plans and build an efficient development team. Ideally will have an extensive network to attract top level talent.

- Define and refine engineering workflows, tech architecture and infrastructure to ensure security, scalability and resilience with cutting edge tools and frameworks.

- Implement (hands-on) components and artifacts for the product, working closely with team members to deliver technical solutions in an agile environment.

- Ensure that the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.

- Regularly review product performance to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

- Hands on Leader (technology and architecture discussions)

- Computer Science degree or equivalent working experience in a technical position for +10 years.

- At least 5 years of working experience in a leading technical role.

- Prior experience working with scalable distributed systems.

- Prior startup experience.

- Hands on experience with microservices, TDD, ETL, Clean Architecture with cutting edge technologies and frameworks.

- Experience in delivering in fast-paced environments.

- Work experience of working in an eCommerce ecosystem is a must

- Passion of technological innovation/R&D

- Ability of develop a tech strategy and roadmap which is aligned with the company's business goals at all times

- Ability to attract a talented team, inspire a team along in the pursuit of company's business goals

- Familiarity and comfort with contemporary tools and technologies in the IT domain - including Web technologies (React/Python/PHP/Mysql/MongoDB), Cloud(AWS/Azure/GCP), Data driven AI/ML methods Irecoand more)

- Good architectural understanding for design and development of highly scalable, customizable, extensible, intuitive, intelligent applications for all aspects of the company's operations - including online ordering platforms, POS, Content
