Preferred someone heading IT and IT security functions in a Healthcare Domain

The Chief Technology Officer plays an integral role in the company's strategic direction, development and future growth.

1. Lead the execution of the technical strategy for all technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships.

2. Oversee the technical research and development, as well as manage the technical projects.

3. Provide visible leadership of the company within the technology community.

4. Select and manage the technical department's staff or outsourced service providers who will participate in the technical projects across all locations.

5. Be in charge of the technical risk management, monitor all the technical services of the company and define a business continuity strategy.

6. Establish the technical standard and processes and perform quality assurance of products development and technical operations.

7. Remain on top of technology trends, identify opportunities for innovation and ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape.

8. Collaborate with all company departments to assess and recommend technologies that support their needs and optimize their work by co-coordinating and integrating the information resources throughout the organization and be the key corporate resource for information systems across all departments.

Snapshot of tasks -

1. Information Systems Strategy & Processes - 

- Articulate, within the organizations strategic plan, of the information and information technology required to support the mission of the organization

- Verify that all the departments follow the Information Security best practices

- The development, communication, promotion, and maintenance of an IT/IS business plan (specifying capital, one-time, and operating expenditures, the implementation plan, and the valued deliverables in a framework appropriate to the culture of the organization), and the securing of the funding envelope

2. VAS:

- Define & mange the POS, CRM & e-commerce requirement for Value Added services and related business

3. Coordinate with the Medical operations to define Information Security best practices

4. Improve Information Security processes:

- Identify savings opportunity by improving Information Security

- Work with respective departmental heads to improve efficiencies
