Job Purpose The purpose of the role is to formulate strategies for company's expansion and product offerings in line with company's strategic objectives. The role incumbent is accountable to provide leadership to the IT & Digital function, which will accelerate business results. The CTO will be building IT strategy and ensuring its execution across diverse competencies and verticals. The CTO will own the technology architecture at Group level and advise the top management & leadership teams on how to gain competitive advantage through technology. Key Job Responsibilities Build competitive advantage through technology in collaboration with top management & leadership teams - Developing, tracking and controlling the development of annual operating and capital technology budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations - Provide overall leadership to IT applications, infrastructure and security of the organization. - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and external and internal audits. Also, ensure that security/regulatory certifications are met and renewed/updated as per requirement. - Assess requirements, design, and develop new IT systems to support the business requirements, Project Management of all IT projects as per agreed budget, timeline and resources and plan. - Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all mission-critical applications, databases, and IT assets. - Assimilate new technology solutions, lead digitization initiatives and other enterprise level technology roll outs - Provide key inputs to the Directors, Board, and other Senior Management personnel on IT- related issues and developments in the Fintech / BFSI industry. - Implementation and operations management of technology infrastructure - Partner with key stakeholder to lead the technology infrastructure strategy and execution for the organization and keep identifying the opportunities for automation, cost savings and service quality improvement - Provides infrastructure services vision, enables innovation and seek to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the organization's requirements and expectations - Development of organizational standards and technology architecture and the IT operations governance process - Develops, maintains and executes divisional operating budgets in support of the corporate infrastructure - Direct and manage all infrastructure planning, management and support activities for areas of responsibility, by developing and enforcing infrastructure standards e.g., policies, procedures, processes, architecture - Ensure system performance and ensure proper administration of backup subsystem hardware and software components and systems monitoring - Direct the design, implementation and management of Storage Area Network, including the system administration, capacity planning and tuning for all servers - Direct the design, implementation and management of email/messaging applications, including email application support for mobile platforms - Direct the planning, design, engineering and implementation of data communications and network facilities, local and wide area to support organization's needs worldwide including the overall design of all wireless network technology - Direct the management, research and development, implementation and maintenance of enterprise network access services for all exchanges to include office productivity, e-mail, business systems, and fielding of corporate applications Provide leadership to the IT & Digital function - Conduct product and vendor evaluations, ensuring best in class technologies and partners - Works closely with and manage strategic vendor partner relationships. Setup and run the Governance with the partners - Participate in the formulation of the organization's enterprise architecture and system plans; assessing cost and feasibility and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business - Oversee the application deployment, desktop administration and engineering support for desktop operating systems and standard desktop tools.
