Role : Chief Technology Officer

Overall Purpose of the Role :

The overall responsibility of the CTO will be to lead the Technology Vision of the company and its product. Having said that it includes Innovation, Incubation, Research & Development, Designing, Implementation, Testing. Implementing strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product development, quality, cost, and delivery, maximizing efficiency, optimizing, and driving technology excellence.

Experience : 18 Years to 25 Years

Preferred Industry : Automotive & Manufacturing

Education : B.E. / B. Tech (Premium Institute) + M.E. / M. Tech (Preferred)

Mandatory Skills Required : Connected Vehicle Technology, Telematics, IoT, AI / ML, Data Science, Analytics, Mobility, Embedded Technology, Sensor Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Overall responsibility of the Technology vision of the business.

- Instrumental in creating a roadmap and executing it for cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Cloud & Mobility and aligning the Technology Vision with the Business Strategy.

- Heading the entire Connected Vehicle, Autonomous Vehicle, AI/ML, Embedded System, IoT, Cloud, and Mobility practice.

- Managing the innovation, incubation, and implementation process leveraging the New Age and Emerging Technologies.

- Capability of building unique solutions using edge technologies in confluence with IoT-AI, Vision AI, and Robotics by interfacing with the Business Experts to build new competencies.

- Capability of building across IoT areas - Sensor to Cloud, Platform, Edge Computing.

- Responsible for selecting a technology stack, designing the application architecture, setting up a scalable infrastructure, and testing the application.

- Technical leadership of Vehicle technology projects.

- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.

- Create and implement best practices, strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance.

- Ensure that the product functions properly and stays relevant to the current market trends.

- Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, engineering, and quality standards and procedures are adhered to.

- Establish quality and reliability standards by studying industry benchmarks and the requirements of customers and research/design and development, and define the metrics required to assess performance against standards required.

- Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor, and develop direct reports and manage a high-performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value, and cost reductions.

- Responsible for developing the appropriate organizational structure and resource planning.

- Proven experience as a Technologist with the above-mentioned skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines

- Demonstrable experience of leading an engineering function with a proven track record in strategic engineering leadership delivering effective engineering strategies, policies, processes, and systems.
