Chief Technical Officer - Startup (8-16 yrs)

Purpose - Why does it exist?

To build and grow the tech function, and make it a source of significant differentiation for our brands

Key Performance Indicators :

1. Number of industry-first features launched

2. AI enabled Product Differentiators

3. Tech Integrations onto Sales Channels

4. Customer Engagement Solutions

Key Responsibilities :

1. Take ownership of and build the front-end and back-end tech of own websites and apps

2. Creating opportunities for product customizations using AI

3. Drive the execution of cutting-edge technology around interesting innovations such as live selling, personalization, AR etc

4. Integrating Technology to arrive at product shades and regimes

5. Integrating Technology onto different Sales channels like EBOs, MBOs, SIS etc and onto internal functions like Supply Chain, Finance, etc.

6. Creating opportunities to implement AI enabled discount modes, virtual try-on and other engagement tools

7. Develop user-friendly, revenue generating mobiles apps and other tech enabled platforms

8. Drive engagement with internal and external stakeholders for implementing the technology agenda

9. Scan market for opportunities to keep ourselves at the leading edge of tech in D2C beauty

10. Build a cohesive, high performance tech team

Experience & Qualification :

Preferred:

Mandatory:

1. Prior experience leading the technology function preferably in consumer tech and start ups

2. Graduation/PG in computer science or related field

3. In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design and development

4. Hands on experience with complex project management

5. Strong People Management Experience

6. Strong experience in applications of latest Tech trends
