Chief Technical Officer - Social Live Streaming space (8-15 yrs)
Must to Have:
- Minimum experience of 8 years in Engineering Leadership roles

- Ability to attract technology talent at middle and junior levels from the startup ecosystem

- Experience of working on products/platforms in CONTENT OR SOCIAL OR GAMING OR COMMERCE space

What you will be doing here:
- Develop, attract and retain a high performing and result-oriented engineering team
- Strategize, Plan and Execute the applications of AI and ML in Personalization and Recommendation along with the business team
- Represent the organization in media to share thought leadership around Engineering capabilities of the company
- Develop and manage multi-year Product roadmap and strategy in collaboration with the Product partner in a multi-function team environment
- Represent the engineering team in product requirement discussions, creation of schedules and manage the overall budget
- Provide value-added expertise in engineering design. Take final decision on conflicts around technical solutions
- Create, improve and drive operational excellence, quality, security and privacy initiatives across the entire engineering team
- Provide staffing forecasts and participate in all hiring activity
- Own the delivery of high-quality software on time, in collaboration with product management, making decisions that balance business requirements with technology constraints
- Represent engineering at the leadership level and manage realistic expectations with stakeholders
- Last but not least, be hands-on - get your hands dirty on coding as and when required for quicker shipping, or for guiding the team
Desired Skills/ Knowledge:
- You should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior engineering leadership role
- Proven track record of growing up the ranks in a fast-growing technology company
- Managed an engineering and technology team of 30 or more and should have built teams across multiple roles in technology
- Experience working with a multi-functional team (Product Management, Design, Test, Operations, and Developers)
- Experience with building large-scale, high availability production mobile application infrastructure
- Strong understanding of architectural principles for a fast-paced technology product
- Entrepreneurial experience of handling scale will be preferred (ex Tech Co-Founders / CTOs / CTO-1 level)
