Job Profile:

- Responsible for the site which includes technology absorption and creation, product development and a production.

- Manage the production for Co products, new projects, technology absorption and new product development.

- Play a significant role in the leadership team of India and later the Asia Pacific region.

- Improve efficiency in every function and part of the site including related functions like Purchase, Supply Chain, etc.

- Maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environment along with maintaining ISO processes and spirit.

- Comply strictly with the spirit of corporate values as well as national and international legislation, specifically labor and environmental law.

- Personally be involved in fostering strong employee engagement and development of leaders

- Work closely with the technical colleagues globally and in particular in headquarters to ensure smooth interactions on new technology, process improvements, equipment and up gradation and project implementations, product development and tribo testing.

- Provide leadership for the Company as a member of the Leadership Team at India by developing and implementing the Company’s strategy in line with overall corporate objectives. This will be done in coordination with the Regional Managing Board for Asia Pac.

- Oversee development of the Company’s annual operative plan, and implement strategies for achieving the Company’s production and financial goals in cooperation with the Regional Managing Board as well as the headquarters.

- Deliver products in accordance with quality standards and all quality systems, in time and in a cost efficient way. Focus on defined Key Performance Indicators as well as continuous improvement of standardized production methods and processes.

- Drive relocation of production from Europe to India continuously, localization initiatives on raw materials used, and new product development all to increase local value addition.

- Ensure efficient use and maintenance of current and future company property (assets, machines, other equipment) with continuous increase in productivity; develop and implement an investment strategy according to the overall strategic plan and in coordination with the Regional Managing Board as well as European headquarters functional organization.

- Assure flawless Supply Chain management keeping up high delivery performance for optimizing working capital

- Assure the overall implementation of safety, security and environment standards according to local legislation as well as corporate standards, including the Code of Conduct.

- Provide goal-oriented leadership with all employees together with the Leadership Team. Lead, motivate, and organize the business with a strong focus on fostering cross-departmental cooperation and cooperation with European headquarters

- Lead, motivate and develop employees of Co to ensure long-term succession strength as well as teamwork, based on the Co Values and Guiding Principles and the Co Guidelines of Leadership & Teamwork. Ensure an overall company climate that is creating a performance rewarding culture.

- Manage labor relations of the company in a constructive and mutually respectful manner based on local legislation as well as standards.

- Holds line responsibility regarding environmental protection and occupational safety activities at the assigned site and all related subsidiaries,

- Arranges and monitors compliance with local HSE policies at the assigned site and every related subsidiary.

- BE Chemical is a Must.

- Experience in Chemical Manufacturing Co is a Must.
