Chief Technical Officer - IT Product Firm

Responsibilities :

- Own the technical architecture, design, development, testing and all other aspects of our web/mobile/desktop-based products.

- This includes technical ownership of software architecture, database(s), development frameworks, and Amazon AWS platform infrastructure.

- Partners with all stakeholders to develop new product features and upgrade existing products and processes; helps define product and project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and testing, launch and release plans.

- Implementing AI/ML and deep learning and natural language processing in our product.

- Hands on experience in leading teams for successful project implementation / technology transformation. Working on latest technologies around Data Analytics, Internet of Things and Insights & Data

- Identify key design considerations and provide solution architecture for integration, Web, Mobile, and backend services

- Track, analyse and monitor technology performance metrics

- Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity

- Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals

- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage

- Help departments use technology profitably

- Build quality assurance and data protection processes

- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance

- Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company.

- Ensuring that the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.

- Outline the goals for research and development.

- Acting as a mentor to team members.

- Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

Desired Expertise/Skill set/Exp req :

- Master's degree in computer science or related field.

- 15+ years in Software Engineering, across the tech stack. Strong Knowledge of Web and Mobile based technologies like C#, ASP.NET, Node.js, Angular are important parts of our solution framework and some exposure to these is a must.

- Strong knowledge of Data Analytics, AI/ML and deep learning and natural language processing are a must

- Reviews designs and architecture with attention to details and produces flexible and scalable software architecture and designs. Strategic thinking

- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, to smoothly interface between multiple stakeholders

- Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.

- Prior experience in building highly scalable, high-performance, low latency enterprise platforms.

- Familiarity with one of the cloud service providers, AWS or Google Compute Engine

- Experience of hiring and building high performing team.

- Understanding of budgets and business-planning
