Chief/Staff Data Scientist - Neo-Banking

We are looking to fill the position of a Chief Data Scientist (equivalent to Head of Data Science) with a leading global Neo-Banking organization which aims to become a Consumer Internet company to provide end- end banking and financial services for global citizens.

Role :

- Data Science leader who will be accountable for building a dynamic data science team from grounds up

- Drive the AI and machine learning initiatives to solve problems that would realize the potential of data to scale the business

- General hands-on applied data Science leader with an ability to create cutting edge data science solutions and solve novel business problems within the expanses of financial services

Qualifications :

- 10-15 years of experience with strong background in Data Science/Advanced analytics areas with PhD/Master's degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Applied Mathematics/Computational Physics or a highly quantitative discipline.

- A hands-on leader in building and leading high performing teams to deliver the work and data science solutions across multiple domains and industries.

- Hands-on experience in the solving wide varieties of consumer related business problems using Data Science and Machine Learning (For instance., building a non-rule based credit Engine using alternative data sources)

- Prefer to have come from a strong Applied Machine Learning background
