Chief Solutions Architect/Chief IT Sales/Strategy Head - Stratacache/Scala Solutions (10-16 yrs)

THE ROLE

The Solution Architect engages internally and externally with Director, VP and C-level staff in both new logo and existing client IT organizations providing critical perspective and guidance on strategy, investments and innovation. They draw upon their depth and breadth of technical and business knowledge to consult, design, scope, quote and present multi-tower technology solutions to current and potential customers. The Solution Architect will serve as the technical lead architect, working with customer teams based on a strategic account plan to properly position Astreya to build managed service solutions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Work with the technical and sales teams to create and execute strategies to accelerate the adoption of Stratacache/Scala solutions to exceed revenue goals and drive adoption

- Coordinate and perform customer discovery discussions in a consultative manner to understand and document business needs and design requirements necessary for the creation of optimal solutions

- Translate captured business needs into business, strategic and technical requirements in order to map to Stratacache/Scala solutions based on pillars and offerings

- Document and present Stratacache/Scala solutions mapped to client business and technical needs to highlight the value of, and successfully position, Stratacache/Scala solutions

- Be proactive and vigilant in identifying client implicit and explicit needs to provide thought leadership that might expand the scope of potential client solutions.

- Develop a deep technical knowledge of both Stratacache/Scala, and 3rd party offerings, and understand them from a modular level

- Conduct regular team trainings on product, positioning and solution selling

- Strong understanding of competitive technologies, competitor positioning, counter-arguments and emerging technologies that could be both cooperative and competitive

- Support the Sales Teams as a resource for structured and large scale opportunities working closely with the sales executive and other sales team members.

- Support in the response to functional and technical elements on RFIs/RFPs

- Timely updates within tools and systems tracking customers, deal pursuits and progress

- Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum of 10+ years technical sales experience for Global IT and Managed Service solutions with strong network and firewall knowledge

- Has strong network & able to develop trusted relationships and use influence to drive change

- Driven with a proven track record in dealing with a field based, fast-paced sales force

- Adaptive situational perseverance in handling challenging business situations and able to deep dive into technical knowledge with engineers and architects

- Strong project management experience - organized, analytical, detail-oriented & creative.

- Excellent written/verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and business executives

- Positive, responsive, engaging and professional
