Chief - Sales & Marketing - FMCG (18-25 yrs)

Our client is a leading consumer goods firm within the footwear category.

Job Profile

- Incumbent should have 20-25 years of work experience operating at a either a national level or a minus one level for a reasonably sized firm (600 crs+)

- Must have had a stable career with a long stint in Sales and Distribution within the FMCG sector with wide presence in both urban and rural markets.

- Should have a pan India distribution exposure (preferably in the FMCG space) and ability to handle large teams efficiently and effectively.

- Capability to drive sales force automation

- Should have handled new launches

- Preference to look at candidates from home grown or challenger brands.

- Must possess an eye for detail; have the ability to roll-up his/her sleeves

- Strong with people management. Ability to build, motivate and manage a team effectively

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high degree of multi-tasking

- Should be a customer focused and goal driven. Along with that s/he should be able to integrate with system and process oriented

- Must have penchant for building systems and sales process and should be a vocal champion for sales process and systems automation.

- Should have successfully delivered in current and past roles; and should be able to deftly handle and enhance a team of at least 50 + people directly and indirectly.

Relevant Experience:

- Post- graduation with 20-25+ years of experience

- Exposure to Consumer / FMCG / B2C Industry and worked at a leadership level

- Strong business orientation; experience of managing a P&L and building scale in a distributed set-up with multi geography experience

- Should have demonstrated ability in scaling up the growth of a company exponentially

- Should be able to take decisions with a firm but convincing approach

- Ability to build a strong functional team

- Extremely strong with nos./data and ability to drive the organisation effectively
