Client Details

Description

- Implementation of best in class enterprise wide risk management framework across all verticals of the business

- Responsible for managing credit risk, operational risk, investment risk, regulatory compliances & corporate governance

- Implementation & Monitoring of business level compliance & internal audit functions as a part of robust governance process

- Design the risk policies, procedures, and processes ensuring appropriate mitigation of the risks inherent in all processes and product offerings. Monitoring of policies, procedures and standards and their modification whenever required

- Monitoring of cyber securities framework

- Implementation of all credit product programs, underwriting policies and delegation metrics across all products

- Establishing robust monitoring mechanism such as Early Warning Signals, Real time monitoring, Risk Containment unit, etc. for all credit products

- Management of line staff and ensuring provision of ERM functions for the Organisation

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of information to the relevant stakeholders (which includes Top Management, Regulators, Rating Agencies). Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently articulate regulatory and group requirements to business and balancing the need for adopting advanced risk management practices while supporting growth

Profile

The Chief Risk Officer will champion the Enterprise Risk Management framework through facilitating the execution of Credit underwriting using Data analytics, IT & Data security, Operational efficiency, and infrastructure as a key enabler to achieving the business objectives of the Organisation

- Graduate / Post graduate / CA with minimum 10+ years of experience in the desired profile

- Prior experience in risk management in financial services

- In-depth knowledge of Credit Risk and Standardized / Internal Ratings Based Approach of Basel 2 / 3

- Confidence & strong communication to be able to manage & guide senior stakeholders

- Preferably a risk certification such asFRM,GARP,PRMIA, etc
