Chief Risk Officer - FinTech (12-15 yrs)
- Responsible for designing and building the risk and underwriting framework
- Designing policy frameworks for various risks - Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Credit Risk, Regulatory compliances.
- Responsible for portfolio quality, credit processes, approval, stress testing, and risk strategies of the portfolio managed
- Responsible for establishing proper risk governance
- Working closely with the data team to build models for automated and row risk lending
- Responsible for multi-product credit policy, underwriting, and collections decisions
- Coordination with Technology and Operations on the development and delivery of suitable systems to support risk responsibilities
- Establishing robust monitoring mechanism such as Early Warning Signals, Real time monitoring, Risk Containment unit, etc. for all credit products
- Monitoring of policies, procedures and standards and their modification whenever required
- Designing strategies and experiments on opening new markets/segments
- Responsible for the attainment of lending objectives and the overall direction and operations of the lending vertical, including administering all loans and driving portfolio quality
- Oversee and provide active management of the company's credit analysis/underwriting function- Ensure credit expansion happens while maintaining asset quality
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of information to the relevant stakeholders (which includes Top Management, Regulators, Rating Agencies)
