Chief Product Officer/Product Head - Consumer Internet - IIM/IIT/BITS/NIT/ISB/FMS/MDI

Looking for a Chief Product Officer/ Head of Product to be based out of Bangalore.

You will work on solving complex problems and be responsible for delivering best-in-class products. You'll work among star engineers, designers & product managers in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, hybrid technology environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Your performance will be measured by your ability to move fluidly from the big picture to the smallest detail, from devising a plan on a white board to executing it into real consumer-facing products, often with tight deadlines.

- Ownership of delivery of product initiatives and releases - identify new product initiatives, market research, finalize requirements, planning & execution

- Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers & designers to think boldly and creatively and then to funnel that energy into concrete products and execution plans

- Deep understanding of customers, technology and competition, to then synthesize into product strategy

- Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

- Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints

- Define and analyze metrics for the success of products

- Communicate development status and document progress toward milestones

- Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment, where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

- Streamlined thinking and Logical depth to break down complex problems in solvable steps

- Bias towards swift action and hunger for results to figure out what's best for your customer: in short, driver personality with product judgment skills

- High bar for design and product architecture, something you wish to exemplify in not only your contributions, but also the products you work on

Desired Skills:

- About 8+ years of experience, currently at a Product Leadership level in the organization

- Experience in digital space - Fin Tech, Consumer Internet and Mobile, e-commerce, marketplace etc.

- Prior experience in Program / Project Management (Budget, Cost, Planning & Coordination, Issue and Risk Management, Delivery Tracking etc.) will be helpful

- Preferred MBA from Top B-Schools and BE / B Tech / BS degree in Engineering from Top Tier Engineering Colleges

- Customer-centric with an instinct to relate to their needs & problems

- Leadership skills - ability to mentor and groom high potential product managers
