Job Purpose Summary : This role is critical to drive commercial excellence for India's leading full service law firm, and reporting to Commercial Excellence Head/ Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of the firm. Key Responsibilities : - Work with lawyer-partners, practice leadership and cross functional teams to ensure full alignment with - Commercial Cadence, enabling an effective and efficient - Commercial Management Process. - Incumbent will ensure on time and accurate delivery of all analytics and dashboard requirement by collaborating with relevant stakeholders - Ensuring data consistency across all dashboards and analytics requirements - Provide periodic and ad hoc financial analysis for functional/operations leaders and pro-actively identifying analytical requirements - Building advance tools and automate or improve processes for analytical and other needs - Work directly with lawyers to develop matter budgets and pricing proposals - Monitor matter budget compliance and pricing policies - Prepare concise reports to assist firm leadership in accessing the effectiveness &amp; financial impact of pricing proposals - Support various firm wide initiatives identified by CSO/ Commercial Excellence Head Experience : - Chartered Accountant or MBA (finance) from Tier 1 institute - At least 10 years of related experience in a professional services firm, law firm preferred - Advanced financial analysis skills and ability to apply this knowledge to large volumes of data to reach meaningful conclusions. - High level of attention to detail. - Strong interpersonal skills &amp; relationship building skills, with ability to interact effectively with lawyers &amp; firm professional staff of all levels. - Strong technical skills including a high or expert level of proficiency in Word, Excel &amp; PowerPoint. - Ability of learn, leverage &amp; use additional programs, including budgeting &amp; financial management software. - Ability to work independently &amp; be proactive.
