Chief Operating Officer - Thermal Power

Our Client is coming up with 1200 MW Thermal Power plant, They are looking for a Senior professional based at Hyderabad.

1. Position : Chief Operating Officer - Thermal Power

2. Location : Hyderabad

3. Job Role :

- Currently or previously you should have worked in thermal power plant at Senior level.

- The job involves spearheading the techno-commercial operations and day-to-day operational affairs of the business,

- You need to play a vital role in in rendering all technical & Commercial support for achieving financial closure, Obtain various statutory clearances and select EPC Contractor through ICB process, Lead the team for bids & submissions to various State Utilities

- Negotiate and establish PPA, Fuel Supply Agreement and EPC/non-EPC/BTG supply Agreements

- Oversee and control contractual deliverables and entitlements, to ensure compliance with schedule and contract conditions, Monitor and control projects progress against approved budget to ensure targeted utilization of fund, Manage additional funding by lenders/bankers for cost overruns through appropriate presentations and deliberations, Maintain profitability as per ABP (Annual business plan) and LTP (Long term plan).

Following are the expertise require :

- Project Management / Erection & Commissioning, Sourcing & Procurement, EPC Package Development, Negotiations/Agreements Contracts Management Asset Care Strategy Mgmt

- Power Plant O&M , Budgets/Resources Performance Management Relationships Business Development Team Building & Leadership.
