- A leading company into the manufacture of work space enhancing accessories is seeking a COO who will seamlessly align mulltiple functions of sales, production,design and delivery.&nbsp; - The incumbent will also lead the strategy for the respective functions. He should have an entrepreneurial mindset with a minimum of 15 to 20 years- experience in a mid-size company at a Business Head level.&nbsp; - Candidate who has worked in the furniture or interiors/manufacturing field will be added advantage. This is a long term role where the company is moving from a promoter driven to a professionally driven culture. Responsiblities - Planning and Strategy - Prepare yearly sales strategy, incentive plan, and monthly sales plan. - Marketing and Sales - Develop a marketing plan for different industrial segments and geographies. - To lead and manage a team of 6 key account managers in India - Client retention/engagement - Classify clients as per their business and consumption. Enhance their consumption in all the varieties of products and portfolio. - Tendering and Project - Leading tendering and corporate project marketing team. - Production &amp; Planning - Responsible for Company production and future planning and expansion. - Design &amp; Development - Create and design new products for promotions as well as customers according to their requirements. - Implement marketing plans and to be sure of the execution by the marketing team. Candidate Background: The ideal candidate would have held responsibilities, strategic in nature. Prior experience of scaling up. The candidate should be stable and should have made a difference to the topline and bottomline in the companies he has been associated with Skills: - Building and managing key accounts. - Ability to roll up sleeves and work hands on with the team - Understanding of quality and supply chain process. - Good communication and proficiency in presentation skills - Strong network with Architects, interior designers and furniture manufacturers - Ability to manage large key accounts - Prior experience of project sales - Experience of selling to large corporates, Indian and MNCs. - Understanding digital marketing and ability to guide the team to ensure that the efforts are leveraged adequately Key Performance Indicators ( KPI) For Role The performance of the candidate shall be evaluated based mainly on the following criteria: - Revenue growth Operational Effeciencies - Profit growth - Cash flow positive - Attract &amp; retain talent. - Increase market share
