Chief Operating Officer - Mobility Solutions Provider

The client is a just-launched brand that aims to be India's leading clean mobility solutions provider, owning and operating electric vehicle fleets for cargo delivery by its customers including the nation's top e-commerce players. The client has already executed van-based pilot projects for key customers in the e-commerce space and is actively expanding its portfolio of operations by adding two-wheeler and four-wheeler to its offerings.

The client's in-house technology development team, detailed data analytics, and use of latest technology improves efficiencies, minimises delays while reducing existing delivery costs. Customers are thus able to create a more sustainable delivery infrastructure by lowering tailpipe emissions and using renewable energy for mobility. Putting things in perspective, 1,000 vehicles translate to a daily 1,00,000+ clean kms with a CO2 offset of 20+ tonnes.

Chief Operating Officer

About the Position :

We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organization's ongoing operations and procedures. The COO shall be a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The COO will have to manage overall business operations, so is expected to be an experienced and efficient leader. Should have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics. The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive growth.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures. In addition, oversee operations of the company.

- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.

- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.

- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.

- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.

- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.).

- Manage relationships with partners/vendors.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or in a relevant role.

- Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.

- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.

- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.

- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office.

- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.

- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.

- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
