Location: Dubai, UAE Firm AUM: $400M Experience Level: 5-10 years

About the Role:

A fast-growing hedge fund with $400M in AUM is seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and optimize its operational and compliance functions. This is a strategic leadership role requiring deep expertise in financial services, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Leadership - Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency across all business functions.

- Regulatory Compliance - Oversee compliance frameworks, liaising with regulatory bodies in Dubai and internationally.

- Middle & Back office - Supervise middle and back office functions, fund accounting and reporting.

- Strategic Growth - Work closely with the Leadership team to enhance operational scalability and drive growth .

- Investor Relations - Ensure seamless reporting and operational transparency for investors.

- Technology & Infrastructure - Enhance operational tech stack, automate processes, and drive efficiency.

Requirements:

- Accountancy Qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).

- Financial Services Experience, ideally within hedge funds, asset management industry, or an investment bank in an Operational or Compliance role (Middle and Back office).

- Regulatory Expertise - Strong understanding of DFSA, ADGM, or other financial regulators.

- Leadership & Strategic Thinking - Experience managing teams and driving operational improvements. Dubai-based or willing to relocate.
