JOB DESCRIPTION :

This position shall be the chief functionary of the organization overseeing overall growth and development. He shall lead the Senior Management for Quality Project Implementation, Measurement (both institutional and programmatic), Strengthening HR while building excellent donor relationships. He would drive the Energy and Spirit of the organization with his dynamic leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure operational processes are of high quality, deploying appropriate Human Resource for all operations.

- Ensure continuous process improvement and cost optimization.

- Ensure proper supervision, delivery of commitments and outcomes.

- Ensure performance planning and delivery.

- Develop and Ensure Partnerships for Programme, Fund Raising, and Financial Management.

- Liaise with relevant Government departments at the national level and work together with state and LGA (Local Government Area) stakeholders to assess progress, challenges, and to identify actionable solutions.

- Facilitate, strengthen and develop donor relations.

- Participate in strategic planning and direction of the setting of the programs as the leader of the senior management team.

- Represent organization at the national and international level as and when required.

- Ensure a very positive work culture in the Organization including motivating staff, overseeing finances, and working to create the most impact possible on behalf of the mission of the organization.

- Ensure timely and quality reporting to Governing Board and all stakeholders.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Qualification: Medical Post Graduate/ Advance degree in health & development and preferably with a degree in Management/Business administration.

Experience:

- Minimum 18-25 Years of work experience in a reputed organization in the corporate or social development field with at least 10 years in senior management functions/ COO Roles.

- Experience in program management, donor relationship, team management, fundraising, and operational supervision with areas of health and development.

Skills and Attributes:

- Good knowledge of Public policy, health system, especially around issues of MCH, SRH & HIV, NCD, and other emerging health issues (like environmental health and elderly care etc).

- Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines, scheduling and multiple priorities. 3- Strong writing skills for internal and external communications.

- Team leadership skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment with both technical and non-technical staff.

- Strong Advocacy and Liasion Skills

- Proven Knowledge and experience of the not-for-profit is a great plus.

- Proven leadership skills with excellent capacity to manage human and financial resources, ability to inspire and motivate staff and external partners.

- Operates with excellence in mind in all matters, with the confidence to defend / debate ideas without ego interfering.

- Transparent, direct, with substance.

- Self-starter, self-disciplined.

- Spark, imagination, creativity.
