In view of its rapid ongoing expansion, the company plans to further strengthen its top management team by bringing in a high-caliber professional to join the team as: Position: Chief Operating Officer - BPO Job Code: EXP/COO-BPO/0519 Location: Major Metro, India Responsibilities :&nbsp; - The selected candidate will provide overall operational leadership to the organization during its critical growth phase. Reporting to the CEO and working with the board on strategy-related issues, he/she will be responsible for Operational P&amp;L Management, robust Processes and Systems, Team Leadership and Capability Development, improved Customer Satisfaction and extremely high Efficiency and Productivity Levels. - He/she will contribute to development of Corporate Strategy, Planning &amp; Budgeting, Monitoring, SLA Management, Client Satisfaction, IT/Infrastructure and Human Resources; formulate and implement strategic plans and programs to achieve revenue and profitability objectives, and ensure that overall performance meets the established objectives. - The COO will institutionalize programs focused on Operational Excellence to deliver world-class performance, while maintaining the entrepreneurial agility of the company; implement modern management concepts for continuous improvements leading to sustained cost reductions and margin improvements, and implement numbers-driven and analytics-based systems that ensure accurate performance monitoring. - He/she will ensure that the organization has the appropriate management systems: structures, facilities, infrastructure and equipment are in place to carry out work effectively, responsibly and safely; that all required professional standards are maintained; and that all business risks are managed and mitigated. - Together with the CEO and CHRO, he/she will help strengthen strong work ethics and culture, implement capability development initiatives, constantly update L&amp;D content and methodologies to ensure the required domain expertise and related skills are available, put in place processes that resolve disputes at early stages through mutual discussions, devise and implement strategies to ensure highest level of employee engagement and service excellence, and ensure a fair, safe, healthy and happy work environment. Requirements : - Critical competencies required for success in this role include strong Business Leadership, Operational Excellence, Result Orientation, Numerical and Analytical Skills, and Man-management Skills. - Ideal candidates will be graduates/post-graduates from premier institutions with an MBA or professional qualification. They must be highly experienced and mature techno-commercial leaders with a strong track record of creating/managing successful BPO businesses. - Exposure to mid to large- sized healthcare BPOs would be highly desirable. - Strong business acumen coupled with P&amp;L focus, cross-functional leadership and team-building abilities; passion for service-oriented businesses; and a strong entrepreneurial flair will be essential. Candidates should have a strong focus on top line growth; change management; service quality and operational excellence. - Proven leadership, decision-making and man-management skills; a solution-oriented approach; excellent communication and presentation skills; a positive,&nbsp; can do attitude; ability to work with and lead multi-ethnic teams in multiple time zones; ability to travel, as required; and high energy level and resourcefulness will be critical for success in this role.
