Chief Operating Officer - Greenfiled Plant - Manufacturing

COO (Chief Operating Officer for a large Greenfiled plant in Ahmedabad)

Role Objective :

1) Overall responsibility of P&L including Sales, Marketing, IT, Accounts, HR, Purchase, Legal and Secretarial functions of the organisation.

2) Prepares sales & marketing plan, promotion, delivery and quality of products and services

3) Recommends yearly budget and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations

4) Leads the organization on its mission to ensure programs, product and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to customers and relevant stakeholders

Strategic Responsibilities :

1) Prepare a corporate plan and annual business plan and monitor progress against these plans to ensure that the Organisation attains its objectives as cost effectively and efficiently as possible.

2) Ensure strategic objectives shaped at the CEO and board level are translated into tactical business plans with mechanisms for key measurements in place to monitor progress.

3) Direct and Control the work and resources of the Organisations and ensure the recruitment of the required numbers of well-motivated, trained and developed staff to ensure that it achieves its mission and objectives

4) Maintain effective formal and informal links with major customers, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities, key decision makers and other stake holders generally, to exchange information and views and to ensure that the Organisation is providing the appropriate range and quality of services.

5) Prepare and monitor the implementation of the annual budget to ensure that budget targets are met, that revenue flows are maximised and that fixed costs are minimised.

Develop and maintain an effective marketing strategy to promote the products, services of the Organisation.

Desired profile:

- Should be Engineering graduate from top institute + any Management degree

- Should have 18-20+ years in a Manufacturing Organisation with an accent for Marketing.

- Preferably from Business Head Background

- Age : Around 40-45 years
