Chief Operating Officer

Education- Any Bachelor's or Master's Degree (Business Administration / International Business preferred)

Experience- Minimum 15 years' experience in Food Industry. Candidates with Senior /Top management / Experienced in Spice industry B2B / B2C would be given more preference.

- Background Candidate is expected to Manage NSPI Operations in Cochin, Palakkad, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh. Candidate must be willing to travel

As GD/COO your areas of responsibility will include, but will not be limited to :

a. Manage and give direction to the management team and other staff and employees of Company with regard to implementation of agreed upon strategies and guidelines

b. Develop business to ensure growth and profitability.

c. Create a responsive and accountable management team and ensure a good HR policy

d. Together with CEO and the Management Team manage relationship with third parties like local government, tax and banks.

e. Actively Manage Processing Cost/ton to remain within agreed levels

f. Maintain service levels to customers, whether internally or externally, at the highest levels by focussing on matters like timely shipments, complaint levels

g. Together with procurement team work on improving procurement practice with clear strategy and procedures as well as the expansion of our Farmer's Partnership Programme

h. Initiate and coordinate investment plans.

i. Prepare annual budget and, after agreement with CEO take responsibility for achieving the financial targets.

j. Ensure that to the best of your knowledge the monthly reporting package contains true full and substantially correct information and is submitted to group level on time.

k. In all actions and undertakings you will comply with Group Guidelines and Group Business Principles as issued from time to time. Furthermore, you will endeavor that other members of your staff will do the same.
