About the company :   It's a JV of an Indian FMCG company with a leading European multinational company having brands in Personal Care, Home Care and Nutrition. The JV in India plans to build brands aggressively in the personal care space. We are looking to hire a dynamic leader for the Joint Venture business who can contribute in developing and executing business strategy/plans to build a sustainable and profitable personal care business in India. This position will report to the JV board.  Location : Mumbai  Qualification : MBA /Equivalent post graduate qualifications in management from a Tier 1 or 2 Institution  Experience :  Must Have :  - 12-18 years overall experience with minimum of 5 Yrs experience in FMCG  - Some Experience in personal care business is required  - A solid sales-marketing professional with at least 5 years of P&L management experience.  - Successfully led business operations with proven track record of achievements  Preferred :  - Experience in domestic and international markets  - Worked in both Indian & Multinational companies  - Experience in a startup  Key Deliverables :  Strategy :  - Develop, execute & deliver the annual and long-term strategic business plans for the JV to ensure delivery of full potential of the brand at pan India level  - Guide team in translation of strategy into business plans, brand positioning and go - to market strategies  - Drive innovation within the organisation to grow portfolio or products by spotting and exploiting trends and market needs  People, Organizational and Team Development :  - Build, nurture and strengthen the relationship between the JV partners  - Lead the identity creation - values & culture for the JV  - Create a Consumer-centric organization with highly engaged and results driven team.  - Lead a high level of engagement & Organisational Health  Business Performance :  - Achieve or exceed agreed long and short term financial and non-financial business targets  - Establish performance objectives, cost and price parameters, market applications and KPIs for brand  - Prioritize and allocate local resources to deliver sustainable growth and value creation.  - Ensure effective management and control of business process and company assets to drive compliance to policies.  - Establish & co-ordinate the governance process with JV Board to review business performance  People Safety & Food Safety and Quality :  - Drive a People / Product Safety mind-set by driving awareness and adherence to JV standards and practices.  - Drive best practices for H&S and FSQ standards across the value chain   External Relationships :  - Maintain and enhance the reputation and image of JV within India  - Develop effective strategies to establish relationship with key external stakeholders, both with government and non-government representatives  - Represent the JV in key local industry forums that influence policy.  - Promote and build ethical relationships with local communities / footprint for corporate social responsibility  Competencies required :  - Must have Experience of translating vision/broad strategies into specific targets and tasks.  - Ability to deliver solution and provide expertise with speed and imagination  - Should possess high degree of business acumen and must have good understanding of P&L  - Strong research and analytical skills  - Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within a fast-moving environment  - Must have good connect and networking in the FMCG ecosystem  - Able to strategize sales & marketing plans through new age mediums including online marketplaces  Personality Attributes :  - Ability to handle pressures of scaling up  - Collaborative working style- with people across both the JV partners  - Ability to drive new initiatives for Brand  - Understanding and adherence of timelines and its impact on business while driving the Brands  - Clarity of thought and analysis  - Courage of conviction  - Entrepreneur mindset  - Analytical & Data Oriented  - Digital native
