Chief Operating Officer - Blockchain/NFT Marketplace

Nspiron India Advisors have been retained by a founding team comprising of high energy, resourceful and focused young individuals, who have envisioned to virtually transport iconic Bollywood media onto the blockchain. With over several million crypto & Indian film enthusiasts across the world, the aim is to build incredible technologies using web3 that would enable the most immersive interactions between the community and the media and digital entertainment industry. NFTs will be the form where exclusive content from films would be added to the blockchain, allowing people to assign a digital value to it and gain ownership.

Looking at competent professionals to play an enabling role on this journey of growth and excitement. Sufficient skin-in-the-game needs to be clearly demonstrated and for the right person who has a DNA match with the founders and the firm, the stakes will be reasonably high and rewards will be commensurate with outcome, passion and scale.

Position: Chief Operations Officer (COO) - Blockchain, NFT Market Place, Gamification and Metaverse.

Reports to : The Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/Board.

Job Overview :

- Oversee, manage and streamline operational processes, to ensure a superb customer experience.

- Optimise and enhance each facet of operations, employ strategies to maximise revenues

- Manage digital and off-line sales and marketing initiatives and build the client base .

- P/L responsibilities for the business

- Assist in building the partnership and alliance eco-system to build effective communities

- Aid in creating the company's budget, and employ strategies to safeguard assets and stock.

- Help in MIS for business and financial reports, policies and procedures.

- Team up with other functional leaders /peers to implement business strategies and practices that fall in line with the nascent industry

- Help build core values and culture and cascade that to the extended team.

- Exemplary leader, with sharp business acumen, and a sound understanding of pragmatic go -to market approaches.

Responsibilities and Duties -

- Working together with key stake-holders to compile the operating plan.

- Spearheading strategies to steer the company's future trajectory in a positive direction.

- Driving the company's operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction, retention, and business objectives.

- Controlling company costs, and introducing tactical initiatives to address slippages.

- Monitoring payables, accounting, and financial processes.

- Preparing timely and accurate performance reports, analytics and operating plans.

- Overseeing marketing initiatives and implementing optimal business practices.

- Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable contributors.

- Ensuring efficient inter departmental co-ordination through ubiquitous practices.

- Design and manage process flow such that the final deliverables to the market is successful.

- Employing robust practices to institutionalize processes and guidelines with minimized uncertainty and contingencies.

- Create initiatives to coach employees to optimize their performance.

- Building a pragmatic performance review system with Human Resources.

- Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, with the buy-in of the relevant functional teams

Qualifications :

- PG degree or above, in marketing/systems with at least 12 years of pertinent work experience, and more than 3 years of exposure in a blockchain and financial technology related projects/product environment or any technology based start-up.
