COO - Chief Operating Officer

The COO will be a key member of the senior management team, reporting to CEO.

He/ she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and play a key role in developing and executing the company's overall strategy& digital transformation of the company.

Chief Operating officers may oversee a wide range of different departments or divisions within their organization. This could include everything from marketing to sales, Operations, finance etc. to ensure that all of these different groups are working together effectively to achieve the company's goals.

Chief Operating Officer Job Duties :

A chief business officer typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

- Jointly working with the CEO to chalk out a growth strategy and business plan for the company to meet its vision and goals.

- Responsible for implementing changes in the form of New Business initiatives, Cost Optimization, Business Analysis & Regulatory Initiatives.

- Nurturing the right partnerships and building the eco-system for organization that enables greater visibility in the market and high-velocity lead flow.

- Responsible for Business Growth, Revenue Generation, Bottom-line and Top line growth.

- Establishing strategic goals and objectives that align with the organization's mission and vision to support long-term growth

- Overseeing the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance

- Evaluating the effectiveness of business operations, including productivity and efficiency

- Recommending changes to improve efficiency and profitability of operations, including increasing revenues or decreasing costs

- Developing relationships with key stakeholders such as investors, Business heads and industry experts.

- Evaluate performance through data analysis and matrics.

- Operational Efficiency- Must excel in approaching business from an operational point of view, be driven and focused on the front line to achieve a maximum level of productivity to reach all strategic targets.

- Customer Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing the best customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

- Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, working methods, and coordination of people and resources.

- Applied Business Knowledge - Understanding market dynamics, company-level objectives, and important aspects of the company's business to accurately diagnose strengths and weaknesses. Anticipate opportunities and risks, identify issues, and develop strategies and plans. Aligning individual and team actions with strategies and plans to drive business results.

Qualification & Experience Required:

Education : MBA from Top premier Institute

- Senior management professional with experience in Forex / BFSI / Fintech with minimum 10 to 12 yrs of work experience with 5+ yrs of experience in a leadership role.

- Should be well versed in all aspect of business (Credit, collection, Sales, operations, compliance etc.)

- Should have scaled business in past roles at a fast pace.

- Highly Innovative problem solver, possessing strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational & project planning skills.

- Demonstrable strategic planning and business development competency .

- Good networking skills and Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to guide and coach across levels in the line team.

- Excellent skills to analyse available business opportunity
