Client Details

Our client is a global auto component manufacturer with a presence in 100+ countries. They are considered to be pioneers in this space, and are always at the forefront of developing and launching new and innovative products in the market. They have been able to develop strategic relationships with almost all major automobile companies and OEM's. They are currently looking to recruit a COO, based out of their office in Delhi NCR.

Description

Reporting to the Asia Pacific Operations Director, you will be responsible for managing the operations/manufacturing function for the company end to end. You will have a team of 5 Plant Head's reporting into you, and you will be required to work closely with them to drive operational efficiency. Additionally, you will also be required to manage functions like Quality, Compliance, EHS and Process Excellence. Our client is looking at significantly reducing its bottom line, and hence there is a significant emphasis on driving efficiency across operations/manufacturing.

In this role, you will be involved in working closely with regional/global stakeholders to ensure that manufacturing practices are transferred across geographies. There is an emphasis by the HQ to upgrade the manufacturing footprint & practices in India, and any initiatives to support this project will also fall under your purview.

Profile

- You will be a engineer or manufacturing graduate

- 15-25 years of experience in the auto components industry

- Experience of working with MNCs or JVs with MNCs

- Experience of managing multiple plants across India

- Excellent communication and stakeholder manage skills

- Leadership skills with the ability to drive results
