Chief Operating Officer - Apparel Accessories Manufacturing Firm (15-22 yrs)
My client is an Indian Apparel accessories manufacturing firm:
Position - COO
Location - Gurgaon
Budget - Upto 80 lacs (including variable)
Exp - 15-20 yrs
The Company is searching for an entrepreneurial leader to head the company's India business.
- You will be responsible end-to-end for the India business, and direct responsibility for managing the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflows of the company, except for corporate finance.
- As COO, you will manage a large and diverse team of different age profiles in different parts of the country. Total team size is 500.
- Job functions will include sales, business development, marketing, HR, operations management, managing teams, finance and costing. You will be running the entire business as the entrepreneur.
- You will join the Company as COO.
Reporting To:
As unit head, you will be reporting to the CEO / Director
Activities Expected:
- Complete ownership of entire business, including sales, business development, operations and HR
- Manage a team of ~500 people across sales, marketing, manufacturing, operations
- Work with the CEO to come up with business plans, targets, and strategies and budgets to achieve them.
- Recruit, inspire and motivate team to achieve appropriate business targets
- Manage finance and legal responsibilities of business unit
- Generate sufficient cashflows for managing growth of the company as well as its employees
- Ensure that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local regulations and laws governing business operations.
Skills Required:
- At least 15 years of high quality work experience in manufacturing firms and a demonstrated desire to grow professionally
- Inspirational leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit are mandatory for this position, as you will lead a large team
- Track record of success in developing and maintaining strong long term business relationships
- High level of confidence and executive presence required.
