Our client is a pioneering genomics research and diagnostics start up, present in the US (Bay Area) and India (Bengaluru). It is backed by leading PE/VC/impact investor firms.

As they bolster their leadership team, they are looking for a Chief of Staff who will work closely with the CEO's office and be instrumental in supporting the development and execution of the CEO's agenda as a strategic partner, trusted operator, project manager, and executor of strategic initiatives. This role will act as point of contact for stakeholders throughout the organization to support departmental objectives.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with proven skills in driving key initiatives with results through engagement with internal partners, have a solid- engineering- and business- acumen- across program management, financial forecasting,- planning,- data analytics,- and business/performance management.

The candidate will be a problem solver and be resourceful, creative, and willing- to work with and through others to be successful.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical thinking are necessary for driving a high level of impact and influence in this capacity as well as a significant understanding of the life sciences, with exposure to the diagnostics and / or genomics spaces a plus.

Reporting to: CEO

Responsibilities :

- Serve as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, the CEO, and the Board of Directors regarding strategic initiatives

- Support the CEO in developing short-term and long-term strategy and corresponding priorities

- Perform ad-hoc strategic analyses to size and prioritize opportunities

- Support mission-critical projects and initiatives to further highest priorities for the company

- Support internal and external executive communications

- Support the CEO in recruiting key leadership positions

- Facilitate the organization and execution of company-wide communications

- Organize and execute materials for Board of Directors meetings

- Support development of ad hoc investor materials

- Prepare content to help facilitate executive decision-making sessions

Qualifications and experience :

- Master's degree in Business Administration from a top tier B School (exposure to healthcare / diagnostics / genomics is a plus, not mandatory)

- 4-6 years in a business or executive management role

- Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments

- Excellent communicator in written and verbal form

- Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity

- Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives

- Experience with data analysis

- Experience with budget development and management

- Proven success in a project coordination role
