Chief Of Staff - Consulting Firm

About the Role:

As the Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the Co-Founders on everything ranging from business strategy & planning, special initiatives, OKRs, white space identification, and executive coordination. This is a key role that impacts all areas of the business - you will be working with team members both internal and external. You will have the ability to directly impact and improve decisions and processes, and bring in speed plus agility in execution throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

- Works scope can be broadly classified into 3 towers namely:

Operational Excellence(Priority) :

- Data & Reporting i. e. equip the organisation with single version of truth regarding Sales and Finance data; developed automated reporting to generate insights + dashboards and build a culture of data-driven decision making.

- Performance Management Rhythm i. e. implement a structured approach to timely multi-dimensional data visibility for performance routines enabling the right capability to diagnose opportunities quickly.

- Drive executive-level operations, strategic and OKRs planning, business reviews, and Board meetings preparation

-Support Co-Founders on fundraising and investor relation matters.

- Build a strong view into the organisation top-down across business functions and support Co-Founders across business functions through both process setup and tracking.

Growth & Expansion :

- Lead projects centered around growth strategy, market mapping & entry strategy, competition landscape, regulatory developments, etc. including projections for the outlook and growth.

- Be a strong business strategist for financial modelling, MIS, business/revenue analytics, planning, and tracking, and is capable of solving white space problems for the Co-Founders.

- Build a thorough understanding of all areas of the business - operations, government relations, product, ops - to determine the priorities of Co-Founders.

Experimentation :

- Identify, define, execute, and manage ad-hoc special projects and initiatives that are cross-functional and strategic to the company.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience in a strategy consulting role in a good management consulting firm or experience in strategy/CEO office roles in tech start-ups.

- Excellent communicator and relationship builder.

- Strong problem solving and fire fighting skills based on first principles thinking.

- Strong analytical rigour i. e. prefer data to challenge status quo, direct hypothesis-driven thinking and structure complex issues.

- High level of maturity in dealing with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to create structures across the organization.

- Pedigree covering Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges.
