Position Title: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)


Location: Mumbai, India


Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)


- Experience Required: Minimum 25 years in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the banking or financial services sector


- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred


Role Overview:


- The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the bank's objectives. This role demands a visionary leader who can drive brand growth, enhance customer engagement, and oversee all marketing

initiatives to ensure the bank's competitive positioning in the market.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:


- Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the bank's goals and objectives, ensuring brand consistency and market competitiveness.


- Collaborate with the executive team to ensure cohesive branding, messaging, and positioning.


Brand Management:


- Oversee the bank's brand positioning, ensuring a strong and consistent brand image across all channels and touchpoints.


- Monitor brand perception and market trends to make data-driven adjustments.


Digital Marketing & Innovation:


- Lead digital transformation initiatives, leveraging digital platforms to enhance customer engagement and drive growth.


- Embrace emerging technologies and platforms to drive innovation and maximize marketing ROI.


Customer & Market Insights:


- Utilize market research and customer data analytics to inform marketing strategies and improve customer experience.


- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, using this data to inform marketing strategies aligned with revenue goals.


Product Marketing:


- Collaborate with product teams to develop marketing plans for new and existing products, ensuring successful market penetration.


- Create go-to-market strategies for new products and services.


Public Relations & Communications:


- Manage public relations efforts, including media relations, corporate communications, and crisis management.


- Act as a spokesperson for the company when necessary, representing the brand to the media, industry events, and other stakeholders.


Team Leadership & Development:


- Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.


- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.


Qualifications & Experience:


- Proven track record of at least 25 years in marketing leadership roles, with significant experience in the banking or financial services industry.


- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth.


- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and technologies.


- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
