Chief Manager - Legal - Manufacturing/Infrastructure - LLB/LLM

Job Description :

1. Evaluation of commercial contracts in the particular evaluation and risk assessment of large tenders especially relating to EPC contracts, and drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts and agreements with the objective of minimizing legal risks

2. Drafting of Notices and Reply to Notices.

3. Provide inputs for resolving contractual disputes.

4. Ensure timely and appropriate maintenance of records by the Contracts team- Maintaining MIS

5. Drafting and Vetting of Transaction Documents for M&A of the Company

6. Deal with Intellectual Property issues and supervise the registration and protection of Trademarks, Domain Names, Copyrights, etc. of the Company

7. Advise the concerned departments on various legal issues.

8. Coordinate with law firms/lawyers

9. Designing, rolling out, and internalizing Contract Management System

10. Reviewing and managing legal cases filed by or against the company in various forms - implementing a litigation management system.

Desired Candidate:

- LLM, LLB Hons/ Law graduate with five years integrated programs from NLS / NALSAR reputed university.

- Experience in Construction and EPC Agreements, NEC and FIDIC

- Experience in evaluating disputes, litigations, and formulation of strategy with the overall objective of avoiding litigation

- Effective litigation management

- Experience in managing external legal counsels

- Experience in multiple M&A activities

- Knowledge of general business law issues regulatory framework, civil laws, Arbitration laws, IPR laws, and claims and developments in these fields

- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
