Chief Manager - Indirect Taxation

Client Details :

Client is a leading stand alone Health Insurance company.

Description :

- Drafting replies to the notices received from Tax Authorities, Maintenance of Notice Register

- Managing Assessment and Audits under both Direct and Indirect Taxes

- Working knowledge of GST is manadatory

- Calculation and deposition of Advance Tax, MAT

- Managing Calculation and deposition of Service Tax, TDS, WCT, GST

- filing of Service tax return and TDS return

- Filing of Corporate Tax Return

- Coordination with Auditors for Statutory, Internal and Tax Audits

- Management of Payable function including but not limited to timely payment of vendor and employee reimbursements.

Profile :

- CA with 5+ years of experience in people and process management

- Experience in Indirect Taxation Laws is mandatory

- Candidates experience with GST, VAT, Service Tax are preferred

- However, also open to looking at taxation managers from Insurance and BFSI only

- Strong hand on GST working knowledge

- Experience in insurance or other financial service industry

- Good at computers especially Excel and Word

- Confident and good communication skills

- Knowledge of ERP Systems
