Role Objective:

- Assisting the GM Finance in the finance operations functions related to all payments and collections including the bank, employee and vendor relationships.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Financial and Management Accounting related to payments to vendors, employees, agents, brokers and other service providers.

- All payments related to claims, commission and expenses.

- Monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts including provisions for expenses and other outstanding.

- Coordination of statutory, tax and internal audits.

- Branch accounts coordination in relation to payments.

- Taxation matters related to service tax payment credits, Tax deducted at source on payments.

- All statutory payments related to PF, IT, professional tax etc.

- Fund management for payments requirements and overall bank relationship coordination and reconciliation of all bank accounts other than CMS.

- Process controls in relation to payments and documentation thereof.

- SAP System Administration.

- Ownership of the General Ledger including scrutiny and review of the accounts and trial balance related to all vendor, supplier accounts and advances accounts.

- Payroll payments and accounting of the same.

- Capitalization of fixed assets, Fixed assets register maintenance and inventory of fixed assets - reconciliation of all advances related to capital expenses.

Qualification & Experience:

1. Qualified Chartered Accountant.

2. Looking for 6+ years of experience from General Insurance industry.
