Chief Manager/AVP - Indirect Taxation - CA

Looking for Chief Manager / AVP Indirect taxation for our banking client in Mumbai Location.

- Candidate should be Chartered Accountant or person with Finance background with around 6+ years of experience in handling indirect tax matters and mainly compliances viz., filing of periodical GST returns, income reconciliation, ITC reconciliation etc

Ensuring periodical compliances of indirect taxes which broadly includes the following:

- Supervision and verification of compilation of GST data on outward supply, inward supplies, reverse charge etc., to be filed with GST Authorities through monthly GST returns.

- Verification and ensuring timely filing of periodical GST returns viz., GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual returns etc.,

- Ensuring that timely accounting entries are passed in books of accounts related to GST compliances.

- Review of State wise monthly reconciliation of taxable value and tax liability as per the GST returns with the income and GST liability accounted in books of accounts. Streamlining the processes based on the observation in income and GST reconciliation.

- Putting up before the Management Income and GST reconciliation on monthly basis.

- Review of GST annual returns and reconciliation statement. Co-ordination with the GST auditor/consultant and ensure filing of the same before prescribed due date.

- Review and ensure timely new branches / offices are updated on GST Portal

- Any other work relating to GST compliances.
