Chief Manager/AVP - Indirect Tax - CA - NBFC

Job Description

- Managing taxation planning and advisory and ensuring timely calculation

- Payment of taxation liability

- Ensure adherence to all applicable statutory / regulatory requirements in all departmental activities

- Oversee preparation of all details for assessment of the Returns filed for all types of applicable taxes

- Undertake all activities related to registration as required of the company under various Tax laws - Indirect

- Ensure 100% compliance on Taxation - Indirect requirements

- Take overall accountability for PF, ESI, gratuity, shop & establishment, trade licencing and labour law related compliances

- Manage Tax (Indirect) Management Information Systems and ensure that relevant financial data / reports are provided on a regular basis to assist business leaders in making informed decisions

- Ensure proper execution of statutory and internal audits as per timelines and in coordination with internal control and compliance department if required

- Co-ordinate with external auditors for faster resolution of audit queries and presentation of financial data in required format

- Guide preparation of annual book of tax (Indirect) in line with planned time schedule and accounting norms and standards
