I am hiring for a big Financial Services firm for a Trading role.

Objective- To oversee the trading business operations, check the compliance of the whole process to the regulations, propose initiatives for process improvements.

Key Responsibility

1. Maintenance of the trading system

a. Oversee the smooth running of the trading system.


b. Verify and update the market parameters for the day.


c. Verifying the master database to avoid any overnight changes in them.

2. Master update and verification

a. Verify on an overall level that the impact of system/ regulatory changes on daily trading activities has been properly identified and dealt with.


b. Verify that business operations have been performed as per the checklist.


c. Recommend additional parameters to be added to the checklist for updation of database in case of a special activity.

3 . Analysis and addition of variation information to MIS

a. Carry out detailed analysis of delays/errors/exceptions and take corrective actions to avoid occurrence in future.


b. Report the reasons for the variations with adequate rationale in the hourly or end of day MIS.

4. Ensure Compliance with regulations

a. Analyse and prepare detailed note on policy changes to align with regulatory changes.

b. Ensure timely implementation of regulatory guidelines / changes c. Verify and confirm circulars

5. Process Improvement and System development

a. Raise requirements related to functional / operational / regulatory changes.

b. Coordinate with IT department for testing and roll out.


c. Verify and confirm circular related to the changes d. Ensure knowledge transfer within the team.

Other Adhoc activities

a. Coordinate Internal/ external audit activities by providing relevant data/information.

b. Provide required inputs for any new organizational initiatives.

Educational Qualifications

Essential - MBA / CA degree

Role Requirements :

- Knowledge of financial and capital markets


- Knowledge of statutory requirements applicable to the financial markets


- Good Excel knowledge.


Experience Essential :


- 7-10 years of experience

Desired - Relevant experience in KPOs/ BPOs/ financial services
