Chief Manager/Assistant General Manager - Sales - Bancassurance Projects (8-12 yrs)

Context & Purpose of Role:

- Coordinate with internal departments for flawless execution of Bank/Partners projects & sales.

- Primary to this role will be the responsibility for creating and managing project plans, schedules, managing those plans though effective communications with stakeholders and team members and reporting on the status of projects under his purview in both a structured and ad hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with internal departments for flawless execution of projects related to Bank/ Partners.

- Develop a detailed project plans to track progress

- Ensure delivery of sales numbers through regular traction with concerned department of Bank/ Partners.

- Manage the relationship with the Channel partner and all stakeholders

- Ensure creation of strong distribution by creating adequate Specified Persons

- Tracking activation and productivity of Specified persons

- Ensuring brand visibility on all possible avenues of the bank

- Product approvals from Channel Partner for launching in the channel

- Strategical & tactical initiatives for driving the business

- Ensuring regulatory compliance in the partnership

- Coordinating for various MIS's and data requirement

- Handling queries related to commission & taxation in the bank

- Working on the Persistency

- Lead and motivate the project team

Key Performance Indicators:

- Target vs Achievement

- SP creation and productivity

- Compliance

- Established partner relationships

- Operation within planned budget

- Development of distribution initiatives with Bank/ Partners

- Launch of new initiatives/campaigns from Bank/ Partners

- Launch of new products

- Ensure healthy persistency

Desired qualifications and experience :

Qualifications:

- MBA with business experiences gained preferably 8-12 years of experience within the financial services (Bank/Credit Card) and insurance sector. Preferably having experience in selling insurance to Bank/Credit Card customers.

Skills/Knowledge:

- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, analytical and project management skills, from both a tactical and strategic sense

- Pro-active and enthusiastic approach to providing leadership and direction to peers and team members

- Excellent organization skills

- Superior verbal and written communication skills

- Pursues multiple, sometimes competing, goals effectively

- Thorough understanding of the Life Insurance industry, including channels (Direct, Banca, Agency), key buying groups and competitor activity.

Life Insurance knowledge including underwriting concepts, local practices, and processing.
