Chief Manager/Assistant General Manager - Network Operation - IT

Job Description:

- Hands on experience in Network Planning, Designing, Implementation and Optimization of Network.

- Experience configuring LAN environments and optimizing a high-volume transaction WAN.

- Hands on experience on latest Devices such as Cisco Nexus, Cisco ISR, Cisco ACI, Riverbed Steelhead

- Hands on experience on routing protocol like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP

- Experience in designing & implementation VOIP, QoS configuration on LAN, WAN

- Hands on experience on Layer2/3 Switching,

- Good Understanding on Security Products such as Firewall, IPS, DLP, NLBs etc.

- Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.

- Demonstrated experience using a protocol analyser to identify and resolve network issues and network usage trends.

- Understand business requirements for customer base and be able to translate them into technical requirements.

- Experience in L2 and L3 MPLS technology used by various service providers.

- Participation in team to strategize and implement network upgrade from legacy network configuration.

- Handling PCI, External and Internal Audits and closing the finding and observations of Audits.

- Managing IP Inventory across DC, DR and Customers.

- Participate in DR Drill Activities and move traffic to DR for specific application.

- Preparing and implementing change plan for changes in DC and DR infrastructure.

- Network systems planning and preparing network diagrams and policy documents for Audits

- Interact with vendors for configuration support, troubleshooting and hardware replacement.

- Recommend procurement of Networking Equipment and Peripherals.

Essential Functions:

Experience:

- 12-15 years of experience in networking technologies with minimum 3 years in above capacity in a large MNC.

- Experience in managing and troubleshooting Cisco devices (Switches, Routers, Concentrators, Load balancers and Firewalls).

- Experience in Developing and documentation of DRP for mission critical devices.

- Ability to manage large projects related to Network Infrastructure.

- In-depth knowledge in designing and configuration of VOIP, MPLS and QOS and troubleshooting any issues related to that.

- Enrich experience with Wide Area Networks consisting of multiple remote sites across the Globe.

- Experience using network monitoring tools to manage WAN infrastructure such as NAM Modules, Net Flow, Cisco Works, HP Open view, or other Enterprise level monitoring tools.

- Hands on with Networking Devices like Routers, Switches, and Firewall from the manufacturers like Cisco, checkpoint etc.

- Understanding of network security control.

- Should be well versed with the ISO 27000, PCI control from the network security control perspective.

- 3-5 year experience in designing, planning and solutioning of network security and telecom infrastructure independently.

Skills:

Technical Skills:

- Layer 3: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Route filtering, Redistribution, Static Routes, IP SLA, HSRP, Static NAT, Dynamic NAT, MPLS, IPSec Over GRE, WAN Optimization using Riverbed

- Troubleshooting tools: Wireshark, Tshark, Tcpdump etc.

- Security: Firewall (ASA 5500-X), IKEv1 and IKEv2 Site-to-Site VPN, Policy NAT, Cisco ACS, IPSec, GRE over IPSec Tunnels, Upgrading Cisco IPS/SFR, AAA, TACACS, Radius.

- Layer 2: Switching, STP, BPDU, VLAN, Trunking, VTP, Ether-Channel, Aruba Wi-Fi Controller,

- Cisco ACI with Nexus 9K, APIC Controller, vPC, VRF, Bridge Domains, EPG, Routing
