Chief Manager/Assistant General Manager - Financial Reporting - Insurance Firm (5-15 yrs)
Job Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for financial statements preparation and entire Shareholder reporting, IRDAI reporting and AC and Board related deliverables. He also needs to co-ordinate for the statutory audit, IRDAI audit, IFC and any other process improvements or automation opportunities including various compliances.
Key Responsibilities:
STAT Financial statements review:
- Review of monthly financial statement preparation as per IRDA regulation.
- Review of various monthly, quarterly and yearly reports and disclosures.
- Review of Shareholder and IRDAI reporting.
Ind AS financials review
- Ind AS implementation co-ordination.
- Monthly Ind AS financials and required disclosures.
- Co-ordination for the statutory audit.
- SPOC for the PMLI & the statutory audit team w.r.t. the quarterly & annual statutory audit and IRDAI audit.
Analysis
- Monthly analysis of the key business indicators of both PL and BS.
- Monthly Earning walk preparation along with reasons for variance.
- Exploring areas of automation and process improvement.
- Project Management and other compliances.
Co-ordination for reporting related projects
- Ensuring IFC compliance.
- Ensuring regulatory compliances w.r.t IRDAI and other relevant Acts.
Measures of Performance:
- Accuracy & Timelines.
- Quality of analysis.
- Project delivery.
- Process Controls and documentation.
