Job description:
Accountabilities:
- Develop a shared vision and strategy for IT in the company, across all regions and multiple SBUs, multiple subsidiaries and operating entities aligned with the Company's growth strategies.
- Develop a digital strategy mission statement - end-to-end strategy, design and implementation of the company's digital roadmap.
- Connecting digital investments to enterprise KPIs in order to achieve positive digital transformation.
- Ensure right technology at optimum cost for the business to enable differentiated service in the market-place
- Maximize technology support at optimum cost
- Ensure high levels of process automation to reduce dependency on manual processes avoiding errors and re-work.
- Ensure technology support to partners to provide business transaction with ease
- Ensure customer delight is enhanced by technology initiatives and thus retention and increased share of the wallet.
- Continuously scan the technology eco-system to identify new technology and proactively suggest initiatives to business adding value as a true enabler.
- Ensure the Information which is the main asset of the company is adequately protected from both external and internal threats through implementation of security policies.
- Enhance technical skills of the team to be aligned to the eco-system
Desired Profile:
- Around 20 years of overall experience in managing IT
- Experience in managing IT in a large manufacturing organization
- Should have managed application development projects, infrastructure and digital initiatives
- Should have developed an end-to-end strategy, design and implementation of the company's IT & digital roadmap
- Experience in large scale IT transformation
- Good management skills with respect to people and technology
- High problem solving and analytical skills.
