Description

The CIO will design and implement the information system architecture to support organizational goals. The role involves process engineering and identification of suitable technology / solutions to optimize various internal operations. Overseeing integration of various applications currently in use and ensuring that they continue to evolve with growing organizational needs will be an important aspect of the job.

Roles & responsibilities:

- Establish the companies technological vision, developing and implementing long & short term IT goals.

- Planning and management for all business critical technology applications including systems design, software development, implementations, data security etc.

- Establish the technological infrastructure required to deliver on the firms technological vision.

- Develop and maintain framework of overall IT policies, standards and strategies.

- Build and mentor IT team members.

Profile

- Bachelors / Masters in Information Technology

- 15+ years of overall experience in Information Technology with atleast 7 years in a managerial and strategic position

- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure

- Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation

- Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations

- Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- A strong strategic and business mindset

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
