Job Title - Chief Information Officer (CIO) - Head of IT Department
Location - Ahmedabad
CTC: 35-40 Lacs
Experience:- Minimum 15 years of experience in the IT domain of the banking industry with 5 years in the leadership role of handling a team of a minimum of 20 people
IT Head Job Responsibilities
1 Manage and Administer the IT Department
2 Align and develop IT Strategy in line with Business Strategy
3 In conjunction with CISO, develop and implement a comprehensive IT Security Policy
4 Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and external and internal audits. Also, ensure that security/regulatory certifications are met and renewed/updated as per requirement.
5 Project Management of all IT projects
6 Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all mission-critical applications, databases, and IT assets.
7 Assess requirements, design, and develop new IT systems to support the business requirements.
8 Provide key inputs to the Directors, Board, and other Senior Management personnel on IT-related issues and developments in the banking industry.
9 Manage the day-to-day affairs of the IT Department and its human resources and resolve issues.
10 Assess training requirements of the IT personnel and ensure adequate and relevant training is provided to them.
11 Develop and manage IT vendors
12 Upgrade and manage the IT infrastructure of the Bank
13 Keep abreast of IT Developments within the Indian Banking industry.
14 Ensure best practices and adherence to international and local standards.
15 Develop Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan
16 Chair the IT Systems Committee meeting and advise Top Management on IT Projects and Strategy.
