Nspiron India Advisors have been retained by a progressive organisation in the retail and apparel industry, who have embarked on an ambitious growth trajectory and are looking at hiring key enablers on their leadership Team to achieve this objective.

Our client is a pioneer in India's offline apparel space to further the objective of their in-house Foundation, a charitable trust devoted to education and healthcare initiatives for the under-privileged. The brand was founded in 2012 and has its own setup for designing which was incorporated in 2019 and spearheaded by a team of senior management professionals.

The company has expanded the points of sale from Middle East to Europe and are planning a presence in North America. They presently have over 75 stores in India alone, and more than 500 points of sale, offering clothing and accessories for men and women.

It has a present employee strength of over 200 professionals. The Company is founded by promoters with strong social ethics and conscience.

Context :

The leadership team would like to identify a young and spirited HR leader to manage the growth expansion and drive the People strategy. This is primarily strengthen the arms of the CEO for achieving the short- and long-term business goals.

The CEO will require strong support from competent leaders, with a hands-on approach to help achieve the organizational milestones and handle the entire HR operations and associated sub functions.

Role : Chief Human Resources Officer

Reports to : CEO

Location : Mumbai

- As the core member in the leadership team in India, the CHRO will be a strategic custodian for the culture build-up and employee engagement

- The incumbent will lead and develop an internal team of professionals to be an effective HR business partner with all the functions.

- The incumbent will ensure all objectives are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

- The person must be well versed in the consumer/ services / hospitality/retail or preferably fashion/apparel industry

- The ideal candidate will be assertive, approachable, and easy to engage with.

- The person would facilitate the leadership team to build the Vision/ Mission statement and work on organizational development initiatives

- Employer branding, Compensation benchmarking, talent management, Performance Management, Learning & Development, ,Talent acquisition are other activities the person would be very strong at

- This position would directly report into the CEO

- This is a revamped position and growth prospects would be based on performance and effective contribution towards the designated role and key deliverables, as agreed upon
