Chief Human Resource Officer - Manufacturing (20-25 yrs)
Role: President HR/CHRO
Reporting to: Managing Director
Location: Pune
Expertise required: Strategic HR and IR
1. Strategic business partner
The Head HR will work closely with the Management to formulate an organizational development plan to support business strategy and growth of the organization. He will be completely oriented to business and facilitate business success by constantly evolving optimum organization structure, resource planning and HR systems and processes. The HR leader will develop HR plans in line with the business plans. He will be expected to play a major role in overseeing current as well as future acquisitions of the business. Having a global strategic outlook will be central to the success of this role
2. Driving Performance Orientation
The HR leader should instill a culture of - high-performance orientation- and set up a transparent - goal-driven- KPI framework. He should periodically track this framework and design the consequence of rewards and recognition based on KPI performance. The HR leader will have to design compensation plans to help drive high-performance orientation, including variable bonus plans, LTI, ESOPs, etc. and also focus on developing robust performance feedback mechanisms.
3. Manpower Planning & Talent Acquisition
He will lead the Manpower Budgeting and Planning cycles annually. The HR leader will be responsible for designing and driving the organization's talent needs from acquisition to retention. It will be his onus to establish clear dashboard with (TATs) Turn Around Time. The HR Leader will ensure that MP & TA are in compliance with / adherence to the agreed budgets. He will be required to develop alternate channels of talent acquisitions viz - Employee Referral programs etc.
4. Employee Relations/ Contract Management
The incumbent will be required to foster and manage cordial Employee Relations, as well as all-India Administration. Should have experience in handling trade unions in the past. Statutory Compliances and Liasoning Contract Labor Management - Managing Contract Labor Compliances for various Contractors and Suppliers and ensuring compliance with all the applicable legal provisions.
5. Change Management
Change is an integral part of today's Organization, the HR leader must build a culture which embraces change. He will have a strong belief in the organization's ethos and accordingly design and implement HR systems and processes to build culture. The HR Leader will build internal capability through appropriate Learning & Development and OD programs. He will monitor and work with leaders to accept and drive change. Dealing with old union-related issues and managing the environment successfully to create a winning organization is also central to this role.
